Our Story

WhitePepper was launched from two horticultural buildings in 2010, one of which was a former bakery. The school has consistently gathered momentum over the last decade and is a leading UK Chef Academy with a truly international appeal.

WhitePepper continues to break new ground – it’s ingenuity and adaptability has made it a driving force within the independent sector for culinary arts education. This was recognised by a regional Education Award by BAPTA. 

It is listed as a Gold Centre internationally, won Best in Britain three times and was described in a review by 'Country Calling' as "A new generation cookery school."

Inside the Culinary School 

WhitePepper has a proven track record for nurturing culinary talent through its multifaceted training qualifications.

The Digital Chef ™️ by WhitePepper Online has made training even more accessible and achievable by delivering a Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality Level 2 qualification in two optional parts; 1) an interactive and tutor-led Online Module and 2) an optional In-person Training Assessment week. 

Not only does this reduce the commitment of time and the need for full upfront fees associated with qualification training but it also provides the autonomy to test-the-water, whilst building culinary evidence towards future (optional) training/higher education courses.
